NCBW Fort Worth Metropolitan Chapter Earns Back-to-Back National Model Chapter Distinction
FORT WORTH, TX — The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Fort Worth Metropolitan Chapter is proud to announce it has been recognized as a Model Chapter Distinction recipient for both 2024 and 2025. This prestigious designation, awarded by the national organization, honors chapters that demonstrate exceptional operational excellence, robust fiscal responsibility, and outstanding local community impact.
Chartered in 2023, the Fort Worth Metropolitan Chapter has rapidly established itself as a trusted advocacy leader in Tarrant County. Through its dedicated health, education, and economic empowerment pillars—including its flagship mental health initiatives and the esteemed Rebecca Crumpler Award—the chapter continues to build a healthier, more equitable future for the community. This consecutive national recognition underscores the chapter's deep commitment to sustainable outreach and leadership excellence.

On March 1, 2025, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Fort Worth Metropolitan Chapter hosted its Signature Event: "Fashioned for Royalty: Where Luxury Meets Lifestyle."
Led by Mistress of Ceremonies Tonya Veasey, this showcase united talented designers and local vendors to empower Black girls pursuing higher education. The heart of the program was the presentation of scholarships to two deserving recipients, directly providing the financial support needed to help these young women reach their full potential.
A major highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the Opal Lee Advocacy Award to Commissioner Alisa Simmons, recognizing her steadfast leadership and dedication to our community.
